Miss F, 24 September 2009 |

"We have been twice now and it is a totally friendly clean and well managed park. There are enough activities to keep kids entertained as well as being quiet enough to chill out and the location is beautiful. We stayed in a caravan and it had full central heating it was comfortable and the shower blows you away which is a pleasant change from normal caravan showers. We 100% recommend this holiday! " |
Mr B, 14 April 2007 |
|
|
"We all thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend. We would recommend going to the dinner dance as it was very good value for money. The food at the complex was excellent and good value for money too. We have already recommended holiday to our friends and family and we would definitely go back! " |

"Location was great close to everything views was out of this world. " |
Mr C, 04 October 2008 |
|
|
"The lodge was in need of maintenance - windows needed cleaned and many window fittings fixed; a bedside lamp and heated towel rail were not working; bath panel cracked; settees in poor state; remote not working; no lids for saucepans; kitchen could have been kitted out better. In view of this the lodge most definitely did not represent good value for money. The activites were rather expensive - it seems as if the management is taking advantage of the isolated location to charge unreasonable rates. Very disappointing that you cannot buy a ticket for a single swim - you can only buy one that includes food. The electricity rate of £35 is a little on the steep side - it especially seems unreasonable charging for day of arrival/departure when you can't check in until 4pm and must depart by 10am - perhaps charging for full days only (i.e. 6 days @ £30) could be considered? " |
Mrs D, 20 July 2009 |

"If you are looking for a peaceful and chilled out holiday then this is for you. This place offers so much for all of my family; time out peace and quiet breathtaking scenery of mountains and lakes. There is great entertainment in the club house and great food a fab restaurant with devine food and a really good variety of activities for all the family. It has the charm and beauty that is second to none - we have visited on 3 occasions twice staying in the Lapwing Lodge - a huge lodge with 3 spacious bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms/en suites (which is fantastic if you are a large family). We have also stayed in the Kingfisher Caravan - this is a luxury caravan and we would most definitely go 'caravan' again. I managed to persuade my parents to join us on two occasions (a mean feat) and they loved it! We will definitely return." |

"The location at Loch Goilhead was stunning and the campsite was incredibly quiet and beautifully maintained. We have been on other caravan holidays and have felt lacking in privacy. The positioning of the caravans and the space between them gave us that privacy we appreciate. There were lots and lots of activites for the children - not once did they want to use the arcade machines and never complained of being bored. The caravan was spacious tastefully styled and very well equipped - we usually struggle with pan sizes as there are at least seven of us - this was not the case at Loch Goilhead. The staff were friendly and always helpful - in particular with the children. I have already recommended this holiday to a number of friends. " |

The scenery surrounding the actual park is the sort you would find on a postcard absolutely stunning. The hotel facilities were very good and our 4 year old daughter particularly loved the swimming pool and ball pool area. We found a beautiful restaurant in Lochgoilhead village called The Shore House (www.theshorehouse.net) which had excellent food lovely staff and owners and the most amazing view you could wish for and all for a very reasonable price - I would suggest booking as it is very popular. We also took one of the motorboats out on the Loch which was great fun and were very fortunate to see dolphins (or harbour porpoise if you're being speficic!) swimming around the loch - a real treat! I would definitely recommend this park if you want some peace tranquility and fresh air - but you really need a car to go there. There is no way you could visit this park without your own transport. During our 5 day stay we spotted dolphins seals hawks a red squirrel and deer - what more can you ask for..?! A beautiful place and a lovely holiday!" |

Our only regret is that we should have had our holidays with you years ago - once again thank you very much for everything!" |
